Johnson City New York

Part of the Binghamton Metropolitan Statistical Area and one of the Triple Cities, Johnson City is just west of the city of Binghamton and had a population of 15,174 as of the 2010 census.

Known as the "Square Deal Town", from the Square Deal given to all employees of Endicott-Johnson, Johnson City was originally incorporated in 1892 as the Village of Lestershire. Then in 1916 the village was renamed Johnson City in honor of George F. Johnson, the leader of the Endicott Johnson Company.
